What we do...

•CD Clogs is a shoe store that specializes in clogs.  All kinds are available through our company. Everyone has different tastes and needs with their footwear, so we can design the shoes just for the customer in our store.  It’s a create a clog store… Like “Build a Bear”

•Stock is also available to purchase in our store for the ones who do not know what they want or find just what they like. We will also sell seconds here and try out new designs in our store

•We also do business on our website.  Currently on Dalaclogs.com, Retail sales are almost every day.  We are anticipating 10-25/ week.  A new website will be developed for CD Clogs showcasing the new collections available.

•We are offering our product at a very competitive if not bottom line price point.  We are definitely the least expensive clog company out there.  But it is not due to the products and supplies being used are of inferior quality,  it is because we are part of Dala Trading Co. and have no middle man to absorb extra costs so our supplies are reasonable.  We can then pass along those savings to our customers.  

Cd Clogs

•CD Clogs is not your typical clog making company.  We specialize in unique shapes, designs, and textile uppers.  All of our work  is made in house by real craftsmen and women, trained by master cobblers from Sweden. 

•Our other unique feature is a workshop area where the weaving studio, painting station and clog assembly takes place.  We are going to allow tours, and can host a variety of classes in this space as well as the normal day to day clog production.

•Our business merger will have a new website:  www.cdclogsonline.com with links to both original sites to allow existing customers to still find us. Currently our websites are 30% of our businesses.  We are expecting it grow to be ½ of our business by 2011.

•I’ve been developing this product for some time with my partners from chameleon clogs. Unfortunately, Due to personal and business issues, they were not able to continue working. Then  our manufacturer decided to stop making our shoes for us.  So they asked if I would take over and liquidate the inventory.  I fell in love with the product so much I reached out and began a search within the Clog Community and I found a way to continue  with Dala Clogs. Together we will create a new and stronger company . With all the experience Dala clogs has with the business of clog making and their time honored craftsmanship, combined with my talents in weaving, textile design and organizing a production facility, it is a perfect combination . The variety of footwear we can create together are From modern and sophisticated, to comfortable and professional.   The possibilities are endless to what we can make.. And to the markets we can appeal.

The Outer Banks is our first stop... But have great expectations to have more retail outlets in the future.. maybe in a town near you :)
